This is what you get with Easy Test. The 2 connectors on the right are for testing the box only. The 3 on the left are for testing your cables.

++++++++Very Important Note: ++++++++On all cables if you find a problem but cannot find the area of the cable where the problem is that probably indicates the problem is in the connector. +++++

After installing the batteries plug either the 2 or 3 pin connector into the box. Do not plug in both. If your testing a 2 pin cable plug in the 2 pin connector and or the 3 pin connector. The LED comes on indicating box is OK

Testing for a Short in the cable

Plug in your 2 or 3 pin cable and the LED should stay out. You then move and twist the cable. If the LED comes on then that means you have a short in that part of the cable. Cut out the section, splice the cable back togeher and start the process over again.

Testing for and Open in the cable

Now plug the yellow or green test connector onto the end of the 2 or 3 pin cable. Which ever you are testing. The LED should come on. Now move the cable back and forth and if the LED goes out, thats where your open is. Cut out that section and splice the cable back together. Start the process over again which makes sure you didn't have multiple opens in the cable.

Testing for a Short in your Wireless cable

Same process as the wired cables. With only the cable plugged in the LED should be out. Move the cable twisting and turning and if the LED comes on you have a short.

Testing for and open in Wireless cable.

Same process as the wired cables. With test connector inserted in the end of the cable, the LED should be ON. Move the cable and if the LED goes off, thats where your open is. Cut the section out, splice back together and start the process over to make sure you do not have multiple opens.
